Earlier this year, NetEase Games announced a collaboration with Marvel to develop Marvel Rivals, a 6v6 superhero shooter featuring a diverse roster of characters with unique abilities. While the full launch date is yet to be announced, gamers have experienced the game through a closed alpha test in May, and a closed beta test is currently running from July 23 to August 5 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Marvel Rivals employs Twitch Drops to engage players, offering beta access keys to those who watch certified streams for one hour between July 25 and July 28. To redeem a beta key, players need to visit the Marvel Rivals website, select the "Twitch Drops" option, and follow the prompts to download the beta on their chosen platform.

However, when redeeming Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops, some players reported errors indicating that the CBT keys were out of stock due to the "first come, first served" distribution, causing frustration. NetEase responded on Twitter, apologizing for the website's inability to handle the high demand and advising players to revisit the Twitch Drop page and click "Redeem" again to verify their key.
