Mitsubishi Electric and Inria kick off the FRAIME project, a joint initiative designed to strengthen AI trustworthiness by integrating formal verification methods with AI technologies, ensuring more reliable, transparent, and safe AI systems in critical applications.

Why Trustworthiness Matters for AI at Scale

As AI becomes embedded in safety-critical systems such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other essential services minor glitches or unexpected behaviors can lead to serious consequences. Traditional testing and validation approaches are often insufficient, requiring significant time, cost, and resources. FRAIME aims to address this challenge head-on by using rigorous formal methods to verify AI outputs systematically.
