Practicing uddiyana bandha in yoga requires both physical engagement and subtle awareness, making it a deeply meditative yet dynamic technique that bridges breath, body, and energy.

To perform uddiyana bandha in yoga, practitioners first exhale completely, emptying the lungs and softening the diaphragm. With the breath held out, the abdominal muscles are drawn inward and upward, creating a vacuum-like lift beneath the rib cage. This action not only strengthens the deep abdominal layers but also stimulates the digestive organs, tones the diaphragm, and massages the internal system.
