American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) has entered into a strategic alliance with SAP Concur to reimagine the business travel, expense, and payments experience. The partnership introduces a new Concur Expense integration for Amex GBT’s Egencia customers and co-develops a next-generation solution called Complete, combining booking, servicing, expense, payments, and marketplace into one seamless experience.

What the Partnership Aims to Deliver

Together, Amex GBT and SAP Concur are building Complete, a unified platform with capabilities that include:

• AI-powered personalization, tailoring travel experiences to users

• Better visibility into spend and policy compliance, giving enterprises tighter control over budget

• Richer content across air, hotel, ground, and rail, enhancing travel options

• A single unified app, accessible online and offline across channels

• Joint support, with a dedicated team from both Amex GBT and Concur

• Advanced AI insights, drawing on data from millions of trips and transactions to continuously optimize in near real time.

Deployment Timeline & Future Features

• The Complete solution will roll out in phases, with new features revealed throughout 2025 and quarterly updates starting in 2026

• Initially, it will be available to GBT Partner Solutions members and Amex GBT’s global partner networks.

• The first integrations will focus on Expense & Concur alignment for Egencia customers, with deeper payments, booking, and AI features following.
